Authorities have identified the woman accused of firing gunshots at Rihanna’s Beverly Hills home as Ivanna Lisette Ortiz, a 35-year-old Florida resident.
According to TMZ, Ortiz was arrested after allegedly firing around ten rounds toward the property on Sunday while the singer was inside the home with A$AP Rocky and their children.
Police took Ortiz into custody shortly after the incident. Prosecutors booked her on attempted murder charges and set bail at $10,225,000. She remains in custody.
Despite the severity of the attack, no injuries were reported.
Rifle Attack Sparks Major Police Response
Investigators say the suspect allegedly used an AR-15-style rifle during the attack, firing multiple rounds toward the property.
The shooting triggered a swift police response in the Beverly Hills area. Officers secured the scene and quickly located the suspect nearby.
The presence of Rihanna and her family inside the home when the gunfire occurred has significantly raised the seriousness of the charges now facing Ortiz.
Authorities have not yet publicly detailed how Ortiz gained access to the area surrounding the property or how long she had been in the neighborhood before the shooting.

Social media users also circulated screenshots of posts believed to belong to Ortiz that referenced Rihanna. Authorities have not confirmed the authenticity of those posts.
One resurfaced 1 minute 43 second video recorded in early February shows Ortiz delivering a disjointed rant in a room filled with trophies. In the clip, she gestures erratically while directing hostile remarks toward Rihanna, including insults about the singer’s appearance and health.

Another circulating video reportedly shows Ortiz speaking outdoors while wearing an Orlando City shirt, launching into an animated monologue about spiritual forces targeting “something beautiful” like Rihanna.
Screenshots from Facebook accounts believed to belong to Ortiz also show posts attacking the singer, including memes and comments directed at her.

Online reactions have been swift. Many Rihanna fans described the behaviour as evidence of a long-running obsession, while others pointed to broader concerns around celebrity stalking and untreated mental health crises.
Authorities have not confirmed a motive and have not publicly commented on the suspect’s mental health. Investigators are expected to examine Ortiz’s online activity as part of the ongoing case.
For Rihanna and her family, the outcome could have been far worse. Multiple rounds were fired at the home while they were inside. That no one was hurt appears to be the only fortunate detail in a deeply disturbing incident.
The investigation remains ongoing.
