Olandria Carthen has added another major fashion campaign to her rapidly expanding portfolio. This time, she’s working alongside legendary makeup artist Pat McGrath for Pandora’s new jewellery collection, which launched on October 8, 2026.

Photographed by Micaiah Carter, the campaign features Olandria wearing statement jewellery inspired by McGrath’s signature beauty looks. The collection includes lipstick charms, sculptural rings, eye motifs and gold-toned accessories.

And there’s a rather satisfying backstory to how this collaboration came together.

Less than a year ago, Olandria was celebrating the fact that Pat McGrath followed her on social media. She also met the legendary makeup artist at Glamour’s Women of the Year celebrations. Now, the two women are working together on Pandora’s latest jewellery campaign.

Speaking to Teen Vogue, Olandria described how quickly she accepted the opportunity: “I have never said yes faster in my life.” She explained that she had admired both McGrath and Pandora long before being approached for the campaign.

Olandria and Pat McGrath Are a Perfect Match

The reaction to the campaign has been particularly enthusiastic, and it’s easy to understand why. Olandria has spent much of 2026 establishing herself in fashion. Between her Milan Fashion Week appearances, designer relationships, beauty partnerships and red-carpet moments, she’s building a career that doesn’t depend on constant references to her television debut.

What makes her trajectory particularly interesting is her ability to develop relationships within the industry. Consider McGrath: their first public connection was an exciting encounter with someone Olandria admired. Rather than remaining a celebrity meeting, that connection has developed into a professional collaboration.

There’s also something especially rewarding about seeing McGrath, one of the most influential Black women in fashion and beauty, sharing the spotlight with a younger Black woman establishing her own place in the industry. McGrath has spent decades working with fashion’s biggest names, including Naomi Campbell, Rihanna and Madonna. Olandria now joins the list of women who have appeared in projects showcasing her artistry.

Olandria’s Creative Input

During her interview, Olandria identified the red lip charm as one of her favourites, explaining that red has always been her power colour. Interestingly, she revealed that McGrath originally gave her a red lip for the campaign shoot. Olandria preferred to let the dramatic eye makeup take centre stage, so they switched to her signature nude lipstick. McGrath welcomed her input, encouraging her to participate in the creative decisions rather than simply accept whatever was presented.

Olandria also told Teen Vogue that she enjoys mixing metals, despite generally favouring gold. She even experimented with mixed-metal styling during Milan Fashion Week. She considers herself a maximalist, although she’s willing to wear simpler accessories when an outfit already makes a strong statement.

The Collection: Beauty Meets Jewellery

The collection translates several recognisable beauty motifs into wearable accessories. The Red Lip Statement Dangle Charm is especially relevant because Olandria personally singled it out. The Lips of Love Dangle Charm and coordinating Lips of Love Statement Ring offer two additional ways to wear the collection’s signature motif.

The Tube of Beauty Drop Earring and Tube of Beauty Dangle Charm make a complementary pairing, while the Lips of Love Ring in sterling silver offers an alternative to the collection’s gold-toned designs.

For anyone who prefers bolder accessories, the Beating Heart Oversized Dangle Charm features a red anatomical heart against a gold-toned background. The Mystic Eye Lab-grown Diamond Dangle Charm uses an eye motif surrounded by radiating lines, and the Lips of Love Mini Charm offers a smaller, playful alternative.

Pandora Has Been Part of Olandria’s Life for Years

One of the most endearing details from the interview concerns Olandria’s first Pandora bracelet. Her mother bought it for her at Christmas after Olandria spent years admiring the charm bracelets worn by other girls at school. Her earliest charms included a Gemini symbol and a makeup-themed design. Later, she began adding charms to commemorate achievements, including graduation.

She still owns that original bracelet, which she keeps safely at home in Houston. It’s a lovely detail because her relationship with Pandora predates the brand partnership. She understands the sentimental appeal of collecting charms because she’s been doing it herself.

The Campaign Has People Excited About Pandora Again

One of the more interesting reactions to the launch is how much enthusiasm it’s generating among people who already own Pandora jewellery. The campaign photographs have prompted renewed interest in charm collecting, with some shoppers considering bringing their old bracelets back into regular rotation.

Pandora’s charm bracelets were once a major fashion staple, particularly among younger shoppers. For many women, those bracelets are still sitting in jewellery boxes, filled with memories of birthdays, graduations and other milestones. McGrath’s designs offer a way to revisit that tradition with a more fashion-forward aesthetic.

What’s Next for Olandria?

Alongside her fashion commitments, she revealed that she’s taking additional acting classes and wants to pursue acting more seriously. She also hinted at several projects taking shape behind the scenes, which she expects to come to fruition over the next year. Another interesting revelation was her interest in literacy. Olandria discussed her enthusiasm for reading, particularly nonfiction, and mentioned the possibility of starting a book club.

Less than a year after celebrating a social media follow from Pat McGrath, she’s starring in her jewellery campaign. That’s quite an achievement.

The Pandora x Pat McGrath collection launched October 8 and is available through Pandora’s official website, subject to product availability.
