Megan Thee Stallion appeared to send social media into meltdown after an Instagram Story screenshot began circulating in which she seemingly accused Klay Thompson of cheating and failing to commit to monogamy.

In the post, Megan wrote:

“Cheating, had me around your whole family playing house… got ‘cold feet’ Holding you down through all your HORRIBLE mood swings and treatment towards me during your basketball season now you don’t know if you can be ‘monogamous’???? bitch I need a REAL break after this one.. bye yall”

The message immediately sparked speculation about the status of her relationship with the NBA star. The wording suggested Megan felt she had been involved deeply in Thompson’s personal life, including spending time around his family, only for him to hesitate over commitment.

As expected, social media quickly turned the post into a meme factory. Some joked about Klay’s reputation, while others leaned into the usual unserious sports-fan commentary. But the tone of Megan’s message makes this harder to brush off as random gossip. Since it appeared to come from her own Instagram Story, it raises real questions about the future of their relationship and whether this is a public breaking point.

A fuller explanation has now arrived. A rep for Megan Thee Stallion told TMZ that she and Klay Thompson have ended their relationship, with Megan saying trust, fidelity and respect are “non-negotiable” for her. She added that when those values are compromised, there is no real path forward, and that she is taking time to prioritise herself and move ahead with peace and clarity.
