Cookie Queens arrives in theaters tomorrow, August 7, bringing the high-stakes world of Girl Scout cookie sales to the big screen. Executive produced by Meghan Sussex and directed by Alysa Nahmias, the documentary follows ambitious young sellers as they build confidence, test their business skills and chase major sales goals during cookie season.

Ahead of the release, Meghan and Nahmias joined several of the film’s top-selling Girl Scouts in the Tasty Studio for a special cookie challenge. The Girl Scouts invited the girls to design their dream flavor, combining strawberry jam, warm spices and white chocolate to create the Berrylicious Badge. The result was a playful preview of the energy, teamwork and determination at the heart of the film.

The girls began by describing the ingredients they wanted in their dream cookies, including shortbread, strawberry jam, cream, caramel, pecans and chocolate. The Tasty chefs then combined several of those ideas into one recipe using freeze-dried strawberries, strawberry jam, crushed ginger cookies and white chocolate.

After tasting the finished cookie, the group named it the Berrylicious Badge and developed a sales pitch before taking it upstairs to potential customers. Their energy quickly became one of the video’s highlights, as they confidently explained the flavours, promoted their creation and even made up a jingle.

During a quieter conversation, Meghan shared childhood advice from one of her teachers, who told her to “keep a good heart.” She also praised the girls for asking difficult questions, working together and taking practical steps to improve the world rather than simply talking about change.

The Cookie Queens Steal the Show

The video immediately brought back the spirit of Girl Scouts: friendship, confidence, teamwork and the excitement of turning a simple idea into something real. The girls were thoughtful, self-assured and impressively persuasive as they developed and sold their new creation.

The Berrylicious Badges also sounded genuinely delicious. Strawberry, warm spice and white chocolate are the kind of combination that feels ready-made for an official Girl Scout cookie box. By the end of the video, it was easy to understand why people would want to order them.

That is what made the segment work. The girls were presented as young entrepreneurs with clear opinions, strong sales instincts and the confidence to create something together.
