There is something quietly wonderful about watching the Duke and Duchess of Sussex share ordinary, sunlit moments of family life. Just a backyard, a father and son with an oversized soccer ball, a little girl in a cute T‑shirt, and the kind of laughter that comes when parents are finally free to just be parents. This week, Meghan Sussex gave us exactly that, an Instagram carousel of spring‑turning‑to‑summer images that feel less like a PR drop and more like a page from a family album.
Princess Lilibet wore a Beyoncé T‑shirt in new family photos that her mom, Meghan Markle, published on Tuesday, June 9.
Lilibet, who recently celebrated her 5th birthday, wore a white T‑shirt that read “B is for Beyoncé” along with an illustration of the 35‑time Grammy winner. “Springing into summer 🌼,” Meghan, 44, wrote in the Instagram caption.
The post also included multiple nature shots, a photo of Prince Harry using an oversized soccer ball to play with their son Prince Archie, and a photo of a basket of abundant fruits and vegetables alongside Meghan’s As ever jam.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have long been fans of Beyoncé. In May 2025, the couple shared photos from the musician’s Cowboy Carter tour stop at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles. “About last night…. Thank you @beyonce and team for an amazing concert (and a very fun date night)! All love,” Meghan captioned the post.

Archie And Harry’s Soccer Moment Shows The Life They Chose
Moments like this show why it was so important for the Sussexes to build a life outside the royal system. This sweet, sunlit version of family life, with their children kept relatively private and allowed to enjoy ordinary childhood moments, would have been almost impossible if Prince Harry and Meghan had remained working royals in Britain.
The photos feel relaxed and personal in the best way. Prince Archie and Harry playing with an oversized soccer ball in the garden is especially sweet because it echoes a moment from the Harry & Meghan Netflix documentary, where a much younger Archie was also seen kicking a ball around with his dad. Seeing those images side by side makes the new photo feel even more touching. Archie has grown, but the bond is still the same.

It is also lovely to see how much Harry and Archie seem to connect through sport. From soccer to surfing, skiing and outdoor play, Archie already looks like a child who loves movement and adventure. And who knows? With Harry’s lifelong connection to polo, maybe Archie will take that up when he is older, too. With the World Cup kicking off this week, I would not be surprised if soccer is very much on in the Sussex household.
Lilibet’s Beyoncé Tee Feels Like A Family Wink

Princess Lilibet is wearing her adorable “B is for Beyoncé” T-shirt, featuring artwork drawn by a 10-year-old and sold by the National Women’s History Museum. Mia, one of the family’s rescue beagles, is having a snooze. The rescue beagles. The California sunshine. It all looks warm, normal and happy.
The Beyoncé detail is especially sweet because Meghan’s admiration for Beyoncé is not new. She and Prince Harry attended Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour in Los Angeles in September 2023, and Meghan reportedly returned for another Renaissance show with Kerry Washington and Kelly Rowland. They also attended Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter Tour at SoFi Stadium in May 2025, with Meghan later thanking Beyoncé and her team for “an amazing concert” and “a very fun date night.”
So Lilibet wearing a “B is for Beyoncé” tee does not feel like a random fashion choice. It feels like a tiny family wink from a household where Beyoncé has clearly been part of the soundtrack for years.
Meghan’s Denim Look Gives A Friend’s Brand A Global Moment

Meghan’s own casual style also deserves a mention. In one of the photos shared with the caption “Springing into summer,” she appears in a relaxed light-wash denim-on-denim look, pairing the Sunday Denim Shirtigan in Light Blue from Tracy James Collection with Upper Village Jeans in Medium Blue The styling is easy, polished and very Meghan: simple pieces, soft structure and the kind of quiet California chic that makes people pay attention to her off-duty wardrobe.
The designer connection makes the look even more personal. Tracy James Collection is founded by Tracy Robbins, Meghan’s close friend, who appeared on With Love, Meghan. That gives the outfit a warmer layer. It is not just Meghan wearing denim in a pretty garden photo; it is Meghan supporting a friend’s brand while giving a smaller label the kind of global visibility money cannot buy.
