Tennis legends Venus and Serena Williams are stepping into the world of podcasting. This August, they’ll debut a new video podcast exclusively on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter.

The show promises intimate and unfiltered conversations with trailblazers, creators, and visionaries. Co-produced by Serena’s Nine Two Six Productions, it marks a new chapter for the sisters—one built on connection, legacy, and laughter.

According to an official statement from X Originals and a press release shared by the sisters, the podcast will feature the Williams duo as co-hosts. They’ll explore everything from personal stories to cultural commentary to interviews with creators, athletes, and changemakers pushing boundaries.

“We’re so excited to be launching our new podcast,” the sisters said in a joint statement. “It’s a space where we’ll share personal stories, spotlight important topics, and laugh a lot.” They added that the platform will allow them to engage directly with fans who’ve supported them throughout their careers.

With a combined 11.8 million followers on X, the sisters remain two of the platform’s most influential figures. Data shared by X reveals that 86% of all digital mentions of Venus and Serena occur on the platform. Serena alone is mentioned over 5,000 times per day, eclipsing even Michael Jordan in social media chatter by 25% over the past year.

This podcast joins X’s growing slate of original programming, including Khloé Kardashian’s viral ‘Khloé in Wonderland’ and WNBA game livestreams, which drew 5 million viewers in 2024. With this new partnership, the Williams sisters are positioned as central figures in X’s evolving media strategy.
