A known stalker sat just metres away from Prince Harry during two days of his High Court appearance last week, The Telegraph reported. The woman, described as a “fixated individual” known to his security team, attended the public gallery while the Duke was present for the opening of his privacy trial against the publisher of the Daily Mail.
The incident occurred as Harry was in London to give evidence in his legal case against Associated Newspapers Limited, raising renewed attention on his security arrangements in the UK and an ongoing government-ordered risk review.
“It can now be revealed that the known stalker, who it is understood may be suffering from mental health issues, attended the hearing on two of the four days the Duke was in court, taking a seat in the public gallery just a few metres behind him. On both occasions, the woman, who is on a list of known fixated individuals drawn up by a private intelligence company for the Duke, was immediately noticed by his private security team, which in turn alerted court security staff.
A source close to the Duke said: ‘There is nothing they could do; they are not the police. It’s a public building, and she has a right to be there.’ They added: ‘He is obviously always worried about his security situation; it’s not ideal.’ The incident coincided with an ongoing review of the security threat posed to the Duke, which was ordered by the Home Office in December.” The Telegraph
Stalker Identified by Security Inside the Courtroom
The woman attended the High Court on two of the four days Prince Harry was present, taking a seat in the public gallery a short distance behind him. His private security team immediately recognised her after a private intelligence company had previously placed her on a list of known fixated individuals.
Harry’s private security alerted court officials on both occasions. No removal followed, as the High Court is a public building and no criminal offence was reported at the time. A source close to the Duke said there was nothing his team could do beyond notifying court security.
The Duke was attending the opening of his privacy trial and later returned to give evidence, during which he alleged that journalists working for Associated Newspapers had intruded into his private life and made his wife’s life “an absolute misery”.
Prior Security Breaches Linked to the Same Individual
According to security sources cited in the report, the same woman has previously appeared near Prince Harry at multiple events. Last September, she accessed a “secure zone” at a central London hotel during the WellChild Awards, where Harry was a guest. Two days later, security sources saw her close to Prince Harry at the Centre for Blast Injury Studies in west London.
The woman had also previously followed the Duke during an overseas visit to Nigeria. These incidents were cited as evidence of repeated proximity breaches rather than a single occurrence.
Prince Harry returned to the United States shortly after the court hearings to attend the Sundance Film Festival with his wife, Meghan, for the premiere of Cookie Queens, a documentary they both executive produced.

Security Review and Official Responses
The courtroom incident coincided with an ongoing review of the security threat facing Prince Harry, ordered by the Home Office in December. The Risk Management Board is conducting the review and will submit its recommendations to the Royal and VIP Executive Committee, which oversees protection decisions for senior figures.
Former UK counter-terrorism chief Neil Basu said that repeated appearances by a known stalker would be “incredibly anxiety-inducing” and warned that fixation can escalate unpredictably. He said Harry last received a full risk assessment in 2019, when he was still a working member of the Royal family, and authorities rated him at the highest threat level.
A final decision on the Duke’s security arrangements is not expected for several weeks. The outcome is likely to affect his future UK visits, including planned appearances ahead of the 2027 Invictus Games in Birmingham.

The Petty Family aka Royal family and the government should be a shame of themselves like they really don’t care about the safety of Prince Harry and his family at all. Ugh I swear this makes me so mad, and this stalker is that close to get to him what if she try to do something to him they would really stupid. I wish they would put pictures and names of these derangers so that they can be exposed.

Wondered, if targeting a black woman, seeks to downplay the significance of the risks and level of security required?
Might this form part of a sinister plot to detract attention away from the real dangers and treats to the Prince’s life and personal safety?
What say you the great British public on this matter?
