Major publications, including the BBC, ITV, Sky News, Reuters, The Guardian, People and The Times, are now reporting that Prince Harry and Meghan Sussex will bring Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet to the UK next month. The story is being framed as a significant development, with the royal rota already spinning it as a long‑awaited family reunion. But while the Sussexes’ team has not issued a denial, they have also not officially confirmed the visit. That silence is telling. Given the media’s track record with the couple, it is worth remembering that the same media ecosystem that spent years attacking them, minimising their security concerns, and casting doubt on their children, is now presenting this as a heartwarming reconciliation. The timing may be convenient, but the story itself appears to have traction, though the true motivations behind the leak remain unclear.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are expected to bring their two children to the UK in July, BBC News understands.
Prince Harry and Meghan will be accompanied by Archie, seven, and Lilibet, five. Next month will be one year to the start of the Invictus Games.
It will be the first time the duke, who lives in California, has visited the UK with his family in four years.
It is not yet known whether King Charles will meet his grandchildren on this visit.
The King last saw his grandchildren during the late Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations in 2022.

Their silence suggests this visit is genuinely planned, though the motivations behind the leak remain unclear. It seems likely that Harry and Meghan are coming for Invictus Games events, not for a family reunion – but the press is already spinning it as a reconciliation narrative.
What bothers me is how the media is using this visit to soften perceptions of King Charles. This is the same grandfather who evicted Harry and Meghan from Frogmore Cottage, ensured they had no security to visit with his family, and chose not to attend Lilibet’s christening. The Palace treated the Sussex children’s titles as negotiable, even as it granted others without question, exposing the double standard at the heart of the institution. Yet now the press wants us to believe he is a loving grandfather desperate for a reunion. The palace stripped Harry of his security while quietly covering Andrew’s accommodation and security costs. The double standard speaks for itself.

I also find it frustrating how the media keeps pushing the false narrative that Charles has already met Lilibet. There has never been any official confirmation. Harry only ever confirmed that the late Queen met her during the Platinum Jubilee in June 2022. The media has regurgitated anonymous sources with no details so many times that they now report them as fact.
The press is using Harry’s family to soften his estranged father’s public image. But a visit does not erase years of neglect, hostility, and broken trust. Invictus is the reason they are coming. If Charles meets his grandchildren, that is his privilege, but the press should not sell it as a heartwarming reunion at Harry and Meghan’s expense.

I don’t believe a word of this, because we’ve had all this nonsense before earlier in the year when all the media and panels were saying and discussing Harry being given back his security. That Meghan had made all these demands of closing off hotel floors and wanting bulletproof SUV, That Charles had offered them Highgrove, it went on for weeks ,all the different articles written about them coming back to the UK only to find that Harry was not given back his security after all . Harry said he wouldn’t bring his family back to the UK without getting his security back . Meghan and the children have never accompanied Harry before to a year out IG so why would they start now??? The children privacy which they have protected would be null and void here which means all the hiding of their faces last month and a few weeks ago would be for naught because the media will have their faces splashed across every news platform all over the world. I don’t see the Sussexes acting so foolish. I don’t believe anything from the uk media if the Sussexes don’t tell say what is going on on their website then Meghan and the children will be having a lovely summer in Montecito while Harry is busy in the UK finalising what’s needed to be done for the IG .
