It’s official: The Emmys have announced the 2026 Daytime Emmy nominees for Outstanding Lifestyle Program on Tuesday, and nestled among the five nominees was Netflix’s With Love, Meghan, the lifestyle series hosted by Meghan Sussex.
The show released two seasons and a holiday special in 2025 and is competing against A Different Breed, George to the Rescue (NBC), The Motherhood (Hallmark) and The Wizard of Paws (BYUTV). The winner will be announced at the 53rd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards on October 30, 2026.
Initial social media reactions have shown strong support for Meghan’s nomination, with fans celebrating the recognition for a series that was, almost from the moment it launched, declared a failure by critics.
But the data, and now the Emmy nod, tell a very different story.
The Duchess of Sussex’s show featured her sharing some of her passions, like cooking, entertaining and gardening. Meghan, 44, was joined by guest stars like Mindy Kaling, Chrissy Teigen, Tan France and Jay Shetty — plus occasional cameos from family members like her husband, Prince Harry, and her mother, Doria Ragland.
With Love, Meghan premiered on Netflix in March 2025. A week after the show’s debut, it ranked tenth on Netflix’s global Top 10 Shows Overview list, having amassed 2.6 million views and 12.6 million hours watched.
A source previously told PEOPLE that there are “currently no plans for a third season” of With Love, Meghan. However, the possibility of future specials or other one-off projects is still on the table.

The Critics Got It Wrong
Meghan Sussex’s Netflix series With Love, Meghan, getting nominated for a Daytime Emmy in the Lifestyle Program category, is the sweetest dish. It’s sweet because the show was declared a failure almost from the moment it launched. British tabloids mocked the recipes, the flowers, the fruit platters and Meghan herself. Some critics treated a lifestyle series as though it were a national scandal.
But the audience data told a different story. In March 2025, Parrot Analytics reported that demand for With Love, Meghan was 8.9 times higher than the average television series in the United States and 7.7 times higher in Britain. Interest also grew sharply in Canada and Australia.
Viewers did more than watch. They recreated Meghan’s recipes, searched for ingredients featured on the show and shared their own versions online. Netflix published recipes from the series, while food creators attracted millions of views recreating dishes such as Meghan’s one-pot pasta.
The Emmy nomination destroyed the claim that the show had no value, audience or industry credibility. The critics said nobody was watching. The data said otherwise. Now the television industry has recognised the programme too. With Love, Meghan survived the smear campaign, and earned an Emmy nomination while doing it.
