Media Pushback and Criticism

Coverage in British outlets quickly took a harsher tone. Some belittled the surfing clip because it was filmed in a wave pool rather than the ocean, while GB News and the Telegraph dismissed the post as trivial or staged. The irony is that these same outlets treated Kate Middleton’s heavily edited Mother’s Day photo as genuine, even as major agencies like AP and Reuters pulled it from circulation after declaring they could not verify its authenticity.

The Waleses grow more private and act like part-time royals, yet the British press fixates elsewhere. Instead of chasing Harry’s surfboard, they should press for answers at home. They can investigate which type of cancer Kate had, especially since she has repeatedly declared herself cancer-free while still using the illness as a reason to avoid work. And unlike the Sussexes, who live openly in a single home they paid for themeselves, why do William and Kate need multiple residences if they are living happily together as a family? Those pressing questions deserve far more attention than Prince Harry catching a wave.
