Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige has officially confirmed the production of Black Panther 3. The announcement follows actor Denzel Washington’s earlier revelation that he will join the cast, with Ryan Coogler writing a role specifically for him.
Black Panther Legacy and Anticipation for Part 3
The Black Panther franchise has been a standout in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The first film grossed over $1.3 billion globally and earned several Oscar nominations, including Best Picture. The sequel, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, earned $850 million despite facing significant obstacles, including the pandemic and the loss of Chadwick Boseman. The film still received multiple Oscar nominations, with Angela Bassett earning a nod for Best Supporting Actress.

The next installment will continue to explore the world of Wakanda. Fans expect the story to focus on Shuri (Letitia Wright), now the Black Panther, and Wakanda’s alliance with Talokan, introduced in the second film.

Ryan Coogler is reportedly writing a part specifically for Washington, who has praised the director’s work and expressed excitement about joining the Wakandan world. This role will be one of the actor’s final projects before his planned retirement, making it a highly anticipated addition to the Black Panther legacy.

Feige praised Moore’s contributions, saying his influence on Marvel’s storytelling will continue to resonate.
