Julianne Moore has something wonderful to celebrate. Her son, Caleb Moore Freundlich, has married his longtime girlfriend, Kibriyaá Morgan, after nine years together, and the Oscar-winning actress couldn’t be happier.
On October 12, Moore shared a beautiful video of the newlyweds dancing down the aisle, surrounded by cheering guests and falling rose petals. Caleb even dipped his bride for a kiss. Honestly, if you’re going to make a wedding exit, this is how you do it.
Julianne Moore Celebrates Her Son’s Wedding
According to People, Caleb, 28, and Kibriyaá began dating in 2017 and announced their engagement in August 2024.
Moore shared the joyful wedding footage on Instagram alongside a message that perfectly captured her excitement:
“This happened!!! We love love love you.”
Reese Witherspoon, Katie Couric, Debra Messing, Tracy Pollan, Andy Cohen and Leslie Mann were among the familiar faces offering congratulations.
And can we talk about how lovely that wedding video is? Rather than a stiff, carefully choreographed procession, Caleb and Kibriyaá danced, laughed and embraced while their guests cheered them on.
The whole thing felt wonderfully spontaneous. Sometimes the most memorable wedding moments aren’t the expensive flowers or perfectly arranged photographs. They’re the moments when two people are so happy they simply cannot stop dancing.
Nine Years Together and Still Completely Smitten
Caleb and Kibriyaá have spent nearly a decade building their relationship. Earlier this year, Caleb celebrated their ninth anniversary with a heartfelt Instagram tribute, expressing his excitement about marrying her.
Nine years is impressive. Some of us can barely commit to finishing a television series, let alone spending almost a decade building a life with someone. And judging by their wedding video, these two still look completely smitten.
For Moore, the occasion marks another milestone in the family she shares with filmmaker Bart Freundlich, whom she married in 2003. They also have a daughter, Liv.
