That is the gap between the people who build the economy and the people who own it.

Inflation hits 4.2 percent and wipes out every raise the working class fought for. Donald Trump says he loves it. Then Elon Musk becomes the world’s first trillionaire. Watching people cheer for him is like watching passengers on the Titanic cheer for the iceberg. Trump administration cuts, backed by Musk’s DOGE, have been linked to mass deaths. He held up a chainsaw and fed USAID into the wood chipper, and at least 600,000 people have already died as a result, two‑thirds of them children.

The very idea of a trillion dollars is grotesque. No single human being should have that much wealth, especially not a man who called a hero diver a pedophile because the diver got more attention after saving a dozen kids. The myth of democracy cannot survive the age of trillionaires. The ruling class is not even pretending anymore. They are preparing a future where most of us do not appear at all.

With a trillion dollars, Musk could feed the hungry for 40 years and end starvation. He could build 2,000 large hospitals. The USA only has 400. He could build 10 million homes. There are only about 2 million homeless people in Europe and North America combined. Instead, he spends his days on social media trying to start a race war and incite riots. He personally dismantled USAID. He is directly responsible for the deaths of tens of thousands of children.

Remember when he tweeted that he would end world hunger if someone would just cost it out for him? The World Food Programme replied with a $6 billion plan, and although it would not end world hunger forever, it could save 42 million people facing famine. He went silent. Then he spent almost seven times that amount buying Twitter. His excuse? The plan wouldn’t end hunger forever; it might come back. So we might as well stop curing cancer because it could return.

All his wealth comes from the benefits he gets from being based in the USA. He should be taxed out of existence. People say he does not actually have a trillion dollars – it is mostly stock. Fine. Then force him to sell it down at 10 percent a year with a 70 percent capital gains tax. Let him try to buy his way out of being the world’s biggest loser.

He could have been a force for good. Instead, he is a pathetic edgelord, a conman, and a fascist. He has all that money and still acts like an incel living in his mum’s basement. The man squandered every bit of his influence and goodwill.
