Charity Work as Duchess of Sussex

In 2018, Markle spearheaded the Hubb Community Kitchen cookbook, which raised more than £600,000 for survivors of the Grenfell Tower fire. Proceeds funded over 300 daily meals for affected families. Archewell Foundation’s 2024 Contributions

The Welcome Project engaged 237 Afghan women, with 98.8% reporting meaningful connections and reduced isolation. Its programs span 11 locations, from Oakland to Washington D.C., offering resources like arts and crafts and storytelling.

In Turkey and Syria, the Foundation provided 3,176 hours of trauma-informed mental health support through its partnership with Humanity Crew. It also worked with Harvest Home to assist over 100 mothers facing homelessness and domestic challenges.

Collaborating with KABOOM!, Archewell built play spaces in Uvalde, Texas, benefiting over 500 children. Its partnership with the Responsible Technology Youth Power Fund supported 26 youth-led organizations advocating for safer technology practices.
