Halle Bailey has been granted a temporary domestic violence restraining order against her ex, DDG, after accusing him of physical abuse during custody discussions involving their son, Halo.
According to court documents, Bailey says the abuse began in January after their breakup in late 2024. She alleges that during a visitation dispute, DDG pulled her hair and slammed her face into a steering wheel, leaving her injured.
She also accuses him of ongoing physical, emotional, and financial abuse — and has asked the court to block him from posting about her or their child online.
A hearing for a permanent order is set for June 4, 2025.

Halle Bailey Stood Up for Herself and Her Son
It’s really hard watching someone like Halle Bailey go through something like this. She’s always seemed calm, grounded, and focused on her work and her family. But what’s happening behind the scenes is serious. And we need to be honest about it.
Halle says DDG physically assaulted her. She says he pulled her hair, slammed her face into a steering wheel, chipped her tooth. She says he showed up uninvited, smashed her Ring camera, and tried to humiliate her online. That’s not just “relationship drama.” That’s abuse.

And while she’s been trying to heal and focus on raising her son, DDG has been online telling stories, spreading rumors, and letting people believe she cheated. He even sent her a creepy picture of her own empty bed, accusing her of being with someone else. But this is the same man who’s been out flirting and running behind TikTok influencers.
Halle never stooped to that level. She stayed quiet, she kept it legal, and she did what so many women are afraid to do. She stood up for herself and her child.
