Elon Musk and Prince Andrew Named in Newly Released Epstein Files

House Democrats have released a new batch of Jeffrey Epstein estate records that name several of the world’s most influential men, including Elon Musk, Peter Thiel, Steve Bannon, Bill Gates, and Prince Andrew. The partially redacted files, made public on Friday, form part of the ongoing Oversight Committee review of Epstein’s network and influence.

Musk and Prince Andrew Among Those Referenced

The documents include Epstein’s personal schedules, phone logs, and flight manifests. One entry dated December 6, 2014, reads: “Reminder: Elon Musk to island Dec. 6 (is this still happening?).” Musk has previously acknowledged Epstein invited him to his private island, but has said he declined.

A separate flight log lists Prince Andrew as a passenger on May 12, 2000, traveling with Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell from New Jersey to Florida. Buckingham Palace records confirm Andrew was in New York at the time for a charity reception. He returned to the UK on May 15. The Duke of York continues to deny any wrongdoing linked to Epstein.

Other High-Profile Figures Named

The newly released pages also reference planned meetings with other well-known figures. Peter Thiel, the billionaire tech investor, is listed for a lunch in November 2017. Steve Bannon, former advisor to Donald Trump, is noted for a February 2019 breakfast. Bill Gates appears in a tentative December 2014 breakfast entry. Gates has previously described his decision to meet Epstein as “a mistake.”

The records, totaling six pages, are part of a larger collection of more than 8,500 documents obtained from the Epstein estate. Names of victims have been redacted, with further releases expected in the coming weeks.

Political Divides Over Epstein Files

Democrats on the House Oversight Committee argue that the documents reveal Epstein’s connections to some of the most powerful and wealthiest men in the world. Spokesperson Sara Guerrero said, “Every new document provides new information as we work to bring justice for the survivors and victims.”

Republicans on the committee pushed back, accusing Democrats of “putting politics over victims” and pledged to release the full set of files.

Jeffrey Epstein died in a New York jail cell in August 2019 while awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges. His death and decades of connections to global elites continue to fuel public anger. The release of these latest documents ensures his network remains a flashpoint in both political and cultural debates.
