It’s been 100 days since Elena Rios took to X, alleging that Poder Prieto exploited her contributions to a podcast. Her tweet misdirected the blame and stirred up a storm that has yet to settle. Despite the murky waters of social media accusations, a timeline of events and actions reveals that Poder Prieto may be the actual victims here.
Contrary to Rios’s claims, Poder Prieto neither produced nor monetized the podcast in question. They simply recommended a podcast produced by El Feisbuk de la Malinche, as they do with other content that aligns with their ethos. Poder Prieto promptly complied as soon as the request came in to remove the recommendation. Since they had no direct involvement in the podcast’s production, the responsibility for payment and the ensuing controversy clearly didn’t lie with them.

The Questions That Linger
Why did Elena Rios choose to falsely accuse Poder Prieto? Was it a diversion tactic to draw attention away from her own failure to respond to the podcast’s attempts to pay her? Regardless, the timelines and facts do not lie.
In this story, if there’s a victim of false accusations, it is not Elena Rios but rather Poder Prieto and “El Feisbuk de la Malinche” who have been transparent and diligent in their actions. One can only hope that the record is set straight for the sake of truth and justice.

I continue to amazed by how much she has been allowed to get away with
100 days already? Why hasn’t the media that initially reported on her complaint provided any these updates? It raises questions about the right for the accused group to respond and whether there is genuine interest in following up on the issue or if it was simply about monetizing on a scandal. Yes, I know some may argue that the accusation regarding the podcast is less significant compared to the allegations towards the actor, but it’s worth noting that she originally emphasized the podcast payment as a primary concern while signaling him as a predator as a secondary matter. I just think there hasn’t been much transparency or fariness from the media in their approach to this matter for all parties involved.
