Channing Tatum would like everyone to know that he is not spending his free time hiding behind an Instagram burner account to troll his ex-fiancée Zoë Kravitz and her fiancé, Harry Styles. Unfortunately for him, he began his denial with “Yo,” which somehow made the internet more convinced that it was him.

The gossip began when internet detectives discovered that an Instagram account called @bidness_nonya had been leaving snarky comments about Zoë Kravitz and Harry Styles. Beneath one post about the couple, the account reportedly announced that it was “just here for the hate.” The truly irresistible detail was that the account appeared to have only one follower: Channing’s verified profile.

Naturally, the internet built an entire case before lunch.

Channing addressed the rumour on Instagram Stories, writing, “Yo i truly can’t believe yall think this is what I’m doing with my free time.” He laughed off the theory and pointed to its obvious flaw: Why would he publicly follow his own burner account if he wanted to keep it secret? He then said @channingtatum is his only Instagram account.

Honestly, that logic is fairly sound. The opening “Yo” simply distracted everyone.

More importantly, internet sleuths had already uncovered evidence supporting Channing’s denial. The account owner previously referred to having a June birthday, while Channing was born in April. The profile had also changed names several times and commented on a much wider range of celebrity stories. It even defended Prince Harry and Meghan while mocking William and Kate, declaring that “Kate and the bald headed one could nevuh.” The account’s activity clearly extended far beyond Zoë and Harry Styles, and its owner directly denied being Channing.

The likeliest explanation is that it began as a Channing fan page, earned his follow and was later repurposed. Channing follows thousands of accounts, so an old fan page slipping through is hardly a locked-room mystery.

This is also consistent with Channing’s established social-media habits. He once admitted that he had “no chill” after people noticed him following several Zoë fan accounts when they first sparked dating rumours.

Channing and Zoë began dating in 2021, became engaged in 2023 and separated in October 2024. Zoë was linked to Harry in August 2025, and their engagement was reported in April 2026.

So no, the available evidence does not support the burner-account theory. But Channing responding at all ensured that far more people heard about it.

This was the perfect piece of harmless celebrity nonsense: briefly plausible, objectively funny and demolished by five minutes of internet forensics. The account probably was not his, but beginning the denial with “Yo” was unmistakably Channing.
