Archewell Foundation and GEANCO Team Up to Support Girls’ Education in Nigeria

The Archewell Foundation, founded by Prince Harry and Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, has joined hands with The GEANCO Foundation to send essential school supplies and menstrual products to young girls in need. This initiative equips these scholars with the necessary resources and affirms the importance of supporting girls’ education and health.

A Mission to Make a Difference

GEANCO, known for providing vital healthcare and educational services in Nigeria, champions the David Oyelowo Leadership Scholarship. This scholarship supports young female victims of terrorism and gender inequality by offering full tuition, medical care, and crucial social and emotional assistance.

The Archewell Foundation’s CEO joined forces with Afam Onyema, CEO of GEANCO. Together, they personally filled backpacks with educational supplies and menstrual products. The partnership goes beyond material support. Archewell’s contributions will also fund menstrual health education for 2,500 girls in the regions served by GEANCO. This knowledge plays an essential role in supporting the well-being of girls who are striving to continue their education.
