A car hit three pedestrians on Argyll Street in Soho in the early hours of Sunday morning, leaving one woman dead, a man with life-changing injuries and another woman with minor injuries. Police arrested a 29-year-old woman at the scene on suspicion of attempted murder, grievous bodily harm, dangerous driving and drink driving.

Public reporting identified the critically injured woman as Klaudia Zakrzewska, a Polish-born influencer and model known online as KlaudiaGlam, who has nearly 260,000 Instagram followers. LBC reported that she had been at Inca nightclub before the collision and that footage circulating online appeared to show the car knock her to the ground and trap her beneath the vehicle as bystanders rushed to help. The outlet also reported that a row broke out outside the club shortly before the collision and that the Met said on Monday morning she remained in critical condition.

What police have confirmed so far

The Metropolitan Police said officers responded at around 4.30am after receiving reports that a car had hit pedestrians on the busy Westminster street. Paramedics took a woman in her 30s to hospital in critical condition. A man in his 50s suffered life-changing injuries, while another woman in her 30s received treatment for minor injuries. Police added that nearby venues were still open at the time and urged witnesses to come forward with information about the collision and the events leading up to it.

LBC reported that a heated row had taken place outside the club shortly before the collision, and video circulating online appears to show a crowd gathered around the vehicle moments before it surged forward. That footage has driven much of the public conversation, but it has also helped create the feeling that people are now watching the story as content rather than absorbing it as a violent incident with real victims.

The social media storm around Klaudia and RIELLEUK

On social media, the arrested woman has been widely identified as Gabrielle Carrington, better known online as RIELLEUK. That identification has spread rapidly because users say the footage, the people present and the online circles involved make the connection obvious. At the same time, police reporting available publicly has focused on the suspect as a 29-year-old woman in custody, rather than formally naming her.

There have also been widespread social media claims that the confrontation began over a man, and posts from people close to Klaudia have added to the sense that the story is developing faster online than in traditional reporting. According to social media posts shared by her best friend, Klaudia has since died. That claim has spread widely, but major news outlets are still describing her as being in critical condition at the time of publication. That gap between what loved ones are saying online and what the mainstream press has formally confirmed is part of what has made the reaction so chaotic.

The human reality under the headlines

Whatever police eventually establish about motive, relationships or the events outside the nightclub, a car hit three people. The crash left one woman fighting for her life, though social media claims now say she has died. Police say a man suffered life-changing injuries. Another woman also sustained injuries. Those are the facts that matter most right now. For now, the police investigation is continuing, the suspect remains in custody, and the loudest thing the public could do is resist the urge to turn violence into content.
